Social Network Search
Just came across YoName.com, a site to quickly find users of several leading social networks… by name, username or email.
Some of the results are pretty funny too. Looks like Dick Cheney is really into social media… 8-)
My awesome new PDA
My pal Gordon brought his new Hipster PDA on our trek to the Apple store this weekend. I’ve been hearing about it, but it’s the first time I’ve seen one.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, the Hipster PDA is a product of Merlin Mann’s 43 Folders Site. His directions on [...]
The Conversation Economy
Andrew Davies has a great image on his blog, inspired by a talk by DJ Spooky.

Online video for beginners…

Life After Death by PowerPoint
Comedian Don McMillan gives us some actually useful PowerPoint tips…
Link from Jeff Nolan’s Venture Chronicles, thanks!
Jeff also makes some great points on software designers (MS Outlook in this case) breaking a huge role of usability… “We didn’t design the software for that, so users shouldn’t do it that way.” Ouch. [...]
Another in the coming deluge of video sites…
Jalipo is a new online video site launched recently, with news content from the BBC World, Al Jazeera English, movies, live events etc. It’s clearly a controlled space, without the “webcam” movies and over-compressed shorts of YouTube.
“This is absolutely not for user-generated content. If you were looking to put us into the marketplace, I would [...]
