Social Media: MyBlogLog 101

With all the new “web 2.0″ sites popping up here and there, you can spend days on end trying to get the real scoop on what a site really does and where it adds value, or even IF it does. (Is it just me, or does Twitter seem spectacularly useless and annoying?)

MyBlogLog is a “social media” site that helps connect blog readers and creators into communities. I started using in a few weeks ago, and have gotten new readers, found new blogs and even reconnected with old friends.

Cord over at Marketing Hipster has a great overview of MyBlogLog’s community and funtionality in two parts, part one and part two, with a follow up post on how the summary was received. Good stuff Cord!

What other social media sites to you find either valuable or annoying?
